Our mandate consists in supporting, developing and promoting paratransit services in Greater Montréal. More concretely, we maintain a dialogue between the various stakeholders in order to better meet the needs of people with disabilities.
We serve as a forum for exchange for the partner associations that make up the disabled persons transport advisory committee. The committee discusses important issues affecting paratransit, including fares, driver training and services offered in remote communities.
We offer financial assistance to metropolitan transport in order to integrate and maintain paratransit services in the form of the Programme d’aide métropolitaine au transport adapté (metropolitan paratransit aid program). For more information on metropolitan transport, click here.
